RECEPTION AT ÇANKAYA PRESIDENTIAL PALACE

President Gül threw a reception on the occasion of the Republic Day at the Çankaya Presidential Palace. The President exclaimed during his short conversation with the press: "All diversities and colors of Turkey are here today. The realities of Turkey are here. Turkey is here!"

CELEBRATION OF THE REPUBLIC DAY

The first ceremony on the occasion of the 87th anniversary of the Turkish Republic was held at Anıtkabir. After the ceremony at Anıtkabir, the President proceeded to the TBMM where he celebrated the Republic Day with his guests. The President later arrived at the Atatürk Culture Center where he greeted the parade with citizens.
