President Abdullah Gül sent his condolences to the families of those who lost their lives due to the fact that a plane of the Malaysian Airlines was shot down in Ukraine.

President Abdullah Gül, after performing the Friday Prayer at Tarabya Merkez Mosque, responded to queries from the press. The President, during his statement, pointed to the downing of a Malaysian plane in Ukraine and said: “I offer my condolences to the families of those who lost their lives due to the fact that a plane of the Malaysian Airlines was shot down in Ukraine. We share the sorrow of the families of the victims.”
