President Rouhani of Iran at the Çankaya Presidential Palace

President Hassan Rouhani is paying a state visit to Turkey at the invitation of President Abdullah Gül.

Upon his entrance to the campus of the Presidential Palace, the Mounted Troops of the Army accompanied President Rouhani.

President Gül welcomed his Iranian counterpart with an official ceremony. Afterwards, the two leaders had a tete-a-tete and chaired the talks between their delegations.

The state visit by President Rouhani will enable both countries to carry further their bilateral relations in all areas.
