The Presidential Couple Attend Graduation Ceremony of Their Son

President Abdullah Gül and First Lady Hayrünnisa Gül participated in the graduation ceremony of their younger son, Mehmet Emre Gül, at Harvard University.

The First Couple sat beside Barbara Bush, the spouse of former US President George H.W. Bush, during the graduation ceremony which 6.000 students from different departments of Harvard University also attended.

During the ceremony, former US President George H.W.Bush; singer Aretha Franklin; art historian Seymour Slive; author Isabel Allende and former Mayor of New York Michael Bloomberg were given the honorary doctorate.
