President Kenyatta of Kenya at the Çankaya Presidential Palace

President Uhuru Kenyatta of Kenya is paying a state visit to Turkey at the invitation of President Abdullah Gül. This visit has particular importance in that it is the first presidential visit from Kenya to Turkey.

After the official welcoming ceremony, the two leaders had a tete-a-tete and chaired the talks between their delegations.

The delegations of the two countries are reviewing the bilateral relations between Turkey and Kenya as well as regional and international developments that concern both countries.
