President Gül Attends Centenary of Military Court of Appeals

President Abdullah Gül participated in the hundredth anniversary of the Military Court of Appeals. The President also attended a symposium entitled “Current Trends in Military Justice” held on this occasion.

President Gül, upon his arrival at the hotel where the ceremony was organized, was welcomed by the President of the Military Court of Appeals, Gen. Ahmet Zeki Liman; the Chief Prosecutor of the Military Court of Appeals, Col. Kemal Bağ; the Vice President of the Military Court of Appeals, Col. M. Ali Uzun; and the Secretary General of the Military Court of Appeals Col. Abdülkadir Karakaş.

Attending the ceremony and the symposium were TBMM Speaker Cemil Çiçek; Chief of the General Staff Gen. Necdet Özel; local and foreign members of the military justice; academics and other officials.
