Accompanying President Gül on his official visit to Slovenia from July 14-15, 2010 upon the invitation of President Danilo Turk, First Lady Hayrünnisa Gül conducted several programs.

President Turk welcomed President Gül with an official ceremony at Brdo Castle. After the ceremony, the two Presidents had a tete-a-tete for a while, a part of which the First Ladies also attended.

The First Ladies later explored the historic Ljubljana Castle and National Gallery.

President Gül and Mrs. Gül, in the evening, attended the official dinner given in their honor by the Slovenian First Couple.

The First Couple along with their Slovenian counterparts on the last day of President Gül’s program in Slovenia, visited the University Rehabilitation Institute together where President Gül was closely interested in the Gazan children receiving treatment.

Afterwards, Mrs. Gül and Mrs. Turk explored the Brdo Congress Center, enjoying the beauties of the Lake Bled. President Gül and Mrs. Gül, after attending the luncheon hosted by their Slovenian counterparts in Bled, returned to Turkey.
